Trying to use SoundSoap 2 or SoundSoap Pro as Audiosuite plug-in in Pro Tools causes errors and/or crashes

Affected platforms: OSX and Windows XP

Issue: When loading SoundSoap 2 or SoundSoap Pro as an Audiosuite plug-in in Pro Tools 6.x, you may see one of the following error messages:

"Fifo Buffer must have power of 2 size code -1. You should close the plugin and remove it from any inserts."

"DAE error -7401 was encountered"

This may also result in a Pro Tools crash. This is caused by having your Audiosuite buffer size set to large or jumbo.

Current workaround: Go into your Pro Tools preferences, select the Processing tab and set your Audiosuite buffer size to medium, small, or mini.

We are working towards resolving this issue in a future update.
