Why am I getting an Error -5699 when Peak launches?
Some users have reported seeing this error when launching Peak under OS 8.6-OS9. The confirmed remedy for this error is to rebuild your desktop. You can do this by restarting the computer and holding down Option+Apple during restart. Continue holding these down until the computer prompts you asking if you're sure you'd like to rebuild the desktop. Choose "yes". Once you've rebuilt your desktop, you should not encounter this error message again.
