Peak Pro 5 —
Process audio with dozens of DSP tools and plug-ins.

Peak Pro 5 Processing Overview

Peak includes dozens of fully integrated DSP tools — including one of the industry's highest-quality sample rate converters. What does this mean? A better sounding final product. Peak supports Audio Units and VST format plug-ins, making it easy to expand your system to suit your effect processing needs. The Vbox matrix allows for quick mastering, and endless sound design options. Integrated Batch Processing can apply DSP tools and plug-in effects automatically.

An Arsenal of On-board DSP

Change Pitch Peak Pro offers over three dozen built-in DSP tools, for everyday needs like fading in and out, changing levels, converting stereo files to mono — or mono files to stereo, repairing clicks, POWr™ dithering, RMS normalization, and sample rate conversion — to exotic and wild effects and sound design tools — such as the ImpulseVerb sample-based reverb, ring modulator, convolution, and harmonic rotation. Whether your processing needs are utilitarian or creative — Peak Pro makes your audio sound its best.

Plug 'n' Play

Change Pitch Thanks to support for the wide world of Audio Units and VST format effects and virtual instrument plug-ins (with over 25 included!), you can add additional processing power with plug-ins from BIAS — such as SoundSoap, SoundSoap Pro or the Master Perfection Suite — and many other manufacturers. Use plug-ins on channel inserts for basic operation, or load them into Peak Pro's included Vbox effect routing matrix for creative combinations and ultimate control of signal flow through your effects.

Automate Your Process

Change Pitch As creative as Peak Pro's DSP and plug-in capabilities allow you to be, there are times when you'll have repetitive tasks. By harnessing the power of Export Regions and the Batch File Processor, you can streamline your workflow, and put your computer to work doing the boring stuff. You might set up a Batch Processor script that applies a desired plug-in, then maximizes audio levels, and delivers files in a particular format to suit your project. Meanwhile, you can grab a cup of coffee — or catch up on email and surf the web.
