Recording in stereo doesn't work

Hello. Thank you for the great app. I am using a 4th generation 32GB iPod Touch (Model: MD058LL) with version 4.0.5 of iProRecorder. (FYI, "4.0.5" doesn't work as an app version when registering for the forums).

After plugging-in my stereo microphone I went to settings and set "Record in Stereo" to on. Unfortunately, whenever I make a recording it's always mono. I restarted my iPod Touch and that didn't help. All my recordings come out mono, as determined by the info for the recording inside the app and also loading the WAV file on my computer.

I can make stereo recordings with this microphone using my computer, but it seems I'm stuck with mono in iProRecorder despite updating the settings. Anything else I can try? Thanks for your help and time.
