Where are the audio files stored in the iphone file directory? i am using a ssh program to get into the directory but have no idea where the audio recordings are stored. Please help, as I cannot get my audio off my phone and have tried everything suggested. Thank you.

I would suggest contacting our support department directly if previous suggestions weren't working:

707-782-1865

Other methods include creating a direct computer wifi to iPhone network (bypassing the router), emailing the files, or capturing the audio as a live feed directly to your computer (taking a 1/8 " stereo line cable our of the iPhone and into the computer's line in jack).

Hope this helps.

Thanks!

Hi All,

I'm new to the iphone and am used to being able to remove any files stored on my phone by usb, so i find it strange that its been made so hard to do so. so i found a program to help me do this.

I installed a program called 'iphone explorer' and once i got used to how it worked i came on this forum to find the root folder for iprorecorder and faced the same as all of you, no solution!
so i took to just going through the directories and after not to long found the folder containing my recordings.

It is not hard to get to

look under this following path -

/VAR/MOBILE/APPLICATIONS/0D9C36DF-DD3C-4376-92B9-0413AD8EC7A8/DOCUMENTS

THERE EASY

highlight and drag to a folder and in it takes seconds to transfer even large files from a 3gs to mac!
