how to fast forward very fast?

Postby garickng on Thu Nov 12, 2009 6:25 am

When trying to playback a long recording (a few hours), how to jump to certain portion without fast forward it from the beginning. I know that I can use the jog dial to fast forward, but it is taking a long time if I want to go to advance to, say the recording at 1 hour later. Is there a way I can jump to the middle or towards the end of the recording?
Thanks,
Garrick

There's a conventional transport slider you can use simply by tapping on the upper left of the volume boost slider.
We are updating the documentation, but essentially, this converts the volume boost slider to a transport slider for moving in larger increments. The new version (3.0) adds markers so you can more easily get to locations throughout the file. Also, not that there are two modes for the jog/shuttle wheel (to the left, you can tap the button to change modes).

Hope this helps!

A marker is simply a way to mark a desired location for easy locating as well as a reference.
This, along with being able to loop playback between markers, are the main new features in iProRecorder 3.0.
It also requires OS3 – which you would certainly want to update to anyway if you aren't already there.

Thanks!
